Francesca Cipolla

Hi everyone,

My name is Francesca, a fourth-year medical student and I’m excited to be running for the position of Treasurer for IC FemTech. I’m currently doing my BSc in Reproductive and Developmental sciences, where I discovered my motivation for working in Women’s health. Having been passionate in technology and working on a couple women’s health apps, I love FemTech as a speciality and the crucial role it plays in advancing gender equality within the industry.

In addition to my academic background, I’ve gained valuable experience while working at the Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime. Although I was working from a silver service standpoint, the skills I learnt and oversaw in that time directly align with the responsibilities of the Treasurer. Such as Financial Planning and Budgeting for large scale event, as well as Attention to detail and Transparency. Overseeing the financial aspects of a major event required good budgeting and high level of attention to detail and transparency, qualities I will bring to the Treasurer role to ensure that financial reports are clear and accessible to all members.
