My Plans as Secretary

Goal #1: Making the Society Run Like a Well-Oiled Smart Contract

Issue: Right now, keeping up with meetings, deadlines, and events can feel like trying to follow a blockchain transaction with no block explorer—confusing and inefficient.

Solution:

  • Structured Weekly Updates – Send out an easy-to-read, digestible weekly bulletin summarizing society developments, event updates, and industry news.
  • Meeting Automation & Transparency – Implement automated meeting minutes & action tracking (think Notion, but better), ensuring committee members stay on top of tasks

Goal #2: Building a Blockchain Knowledge Hub for Members

Issue: Our society is filled with bright, blockchain-curious minds, but access to structured learning materials and past event insights is scattered.

Solution:

  • Meeting & Event Summaries – Publish concise, engaging post-event recaps so members who missed out can still gain insights.
  • Member-Led Knowledge Shares – Encourage bite-sized knowledge-sharing sessions where members present on emerging blockchain trends.

Goal #3: Keeping Our Society Connected & Engaged

Issue: Blockchain is all about decentralization, but ironically, a society without proper organization can lead to fragmentation and disengagement.

Solution:

  • Revamped Committee Workflow – Implement a structured internal task management system (e.g., Trello, Notion, or Asana), where all committee members can track their responsibilities and upcoming deadlines
  • Structured Feedback Mechanisms – Introduce quarterly anonymous feedback surveys for both committee members and general society members to refine operations, improve event quality, and adapt initiatives to what members truly want.
