Rishi Miriyala

Hi! My name's Rishi and I'm running for networking officer.

I've held a variety of roles since being at Imperial, being a president for two socieites and leading an international charity called UAEM. I've built an extensive network of doctors and entrepreneurs through my Management BSc intercalation at Imperial Business School. I've also had experience coordinating speakers for a variety of conferences (Cardiology, Ophthalmology, UAEM), teaching events (Cardiology, LMAP) and other events.

I know what's required is to be diligent with emails and messages, being organised with deadlines, and communicating with those leading the event organisation. I've had experience on this, and would be excited to bring this to Doctorpreneurs.

Personally, I don't see myself as having a traditional career as a doctor. I'm in the rounds for consulting, and have built start-ups in the past, pitching one to VCs a few weeks ago. I want to be around like-minded people and connect professionals acting on this mindset with students at Imperial.
