Hello, my name is Michelle, and I am honored to apply as Secretary of the Respiratory Medicine Society.

Over the past year, serving as Secretary has been a rewarding experience. I created a termly newsletter, keeping members informed about upcoming events while also incorporating interesting case studies to support revision and deepen understanding of respiratory medicine. My goal has always been to engage members, enhance learning opportunities, and foster a strong sense of community within the society.

If re-elected, I would love to continue expanding the society’s reach by organising more conferences and events, further improving communication within the society, and refining the newsletter to provide even greater value. My experience has strengthened my skills in organisation, time management, and teamwork, all of which are essential for this role. I am committed to ensuring the society runs smoothly and continues to be an enriching resource for all members. Additionally, I aim to work alongside the society to bring in more high-quality conferences, featuring front-tier researchers, renowned doctors, and more hands-on workshops to give members valuable practical experience.
