I’m Yuvraj Gupta, and I’m running to be your Treasurer for the Ukrainian Society. Though I’m Indian, Ukraine has always been home to me—my family is from Ukraine, and I’ve spent a significant part of my childhood visiting and embracing its culture. This country and its people have shaped a huge part of my life, and I want to give back by helping our society grow, connect, and thrive.

Why Me?

As Treasurer, I will ensure our finances are well-managed, transparent, and used efficiently to bring you the best possible events and initiatives. My priorities:

💙 Secure More Funding – Apply for grants, sponsorships, and university funding to expand our resources.
💛 Keep Finances Transparent – Every hryvnia (well, pound) will be accounted for, with clear budgeting and spending updates.
💙 Make Events More Affordable – Find ways to subsidize event costs so everyone can fully participate.

Also, let’s be real—who else misses pelmeni? If elected, I’ll do my best to ensure our events are not only affordable but come with plenty of good food. Because what’s a Ukrainian society without a proper feast?

From cultural celebrations to networking opportunities, I want to help our society reach its full potential. With strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep personal connection to Ukraine, I am dedicated to making Ukrainian Society financially strong and impactful.
