Nichchalan Jeganathan

Hey guys,

I am passionate about cardiorespiratory medicine and as academic officer I will try to ensure that members feel comfortable and involved with the various opportunities available in the society.

Some aims I have include:

• Helping facilitate the delivery of engaging sessions on various topics e.g. Chest X-ray intrepretation, managing respiratory emergencies.
• Providing some form of mentorship where students are paired with a resident with interest in the field
• Organising a teaching series on physiology of breathing

I would also love to hear from you guys about anything that you would like. Previously, I have been a mentor, for both academic and non-academic subjects, and hence the importance of having a good guide was highlighted to me. I have also tutored before and so appreciate the importance of providing information in a clear and concise manner. I hope ,with the skills I have developed from these experiences, I meet the aims stated above and also address any other concerns you may have.
