Aimee Laisathit
Hi! I’m Aimee, a second year Bioengineering student, and this year I am running for treasurer for Imperial Marrow once again.
I have always been involved with charitable projects as extracurriculars; last year was no exception as I took on the role of Treasurer and student volunteer for Marrow. So far this year, we have had numerous successful fundraisers, for which I managed the funds—costs, income, and everything in between. My experience is this role will therefore be a valuable asset, as I have gotten comfortable with operating the union’s financial processes, including securing the card machine for our fundraising efforts.
Next year, I promise to work to increase our fundraising totals by being as strategic and thorough possible. I will continue to make sure our spending reflects the goals and purposes of Imperial Marrow and the parent charity, Anthony Nolan.
Looking back, I’m proud of the progress we’ve made; looking forward, I am excited for the impact we will continue to make together this upcoming year!
