Hi everyone, my name is Abhavya and I’m excited by the opportunity to run for RAG media coordinator. ICSM RAG hosts so many unforgettable events which I love and know everyone looks forward to annually. I would love to help maximise the attention and support for these events. Some ideas I have to promote them include

Throwback thursdays - share highlights from previous RAG events to build hype and nostalgia

Society collabs - club vs club challenges on socials, and use this to build up hype for events like gladiator sports nights

Working with the publicity officer to post regular Tik toks - funny and lighthearted tik tok challenges at the big events eg masquerade ball and circle line

Charity spotlights - regular posts throughout the year before events to remind people about the charities RAG supports + a fundraiser update

Event recap reels - so that ppl can see how fun the events are in the future

After being one of the 4s netball captains this year, I have developed super organised time management as well as strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills- which will help me in this role and help me to work with everyone to help organise the events we all love. As a member of netball, I can also help to liaise with sports related rag events.

I am considerate and friendly, love coming up with creative ideas and would love to be more involved with ICSM RAG!!
