Hi everyone!

I’m Haoyue, a 2nd year Medical Biosciences student, and I am excited to run for Competition Captain (Female) in the next academic year!

Why am I running for Female Competition Captain?

• I am deeply passionate about Kendo and the discipline it instills.
• I want to strengthen our team spirit and create a supportive, competitive environment.
• Kendo is not just about technique; it's about perseverance and growth, and I hope to make this journey meaningful for everyone.

What makes me a strong candidate?

• As a Recruitment & Outreach Student Ambassador at Imperial, I’ve learned how to connect with and inspire people, which is exactly what I want to bring to our team. I’ll make sure that everyone feels valued, supported, and motivated. I’m always open to listening, and I want to help create a positive, inclusive environment where we can all grow and enjoy Kendo together.

Goals & Responsibilities

• Encourage members to attend training consistently.
• Prepare the team for major competitions such as Uni Taikai and Mumeshi 3s.
• Work closely with the Male Competition Captain to ensure smooth competition logistics.
