Chujie Zhang

Hi everyone! I’m Chujie, and I’m running to be your Welfare Officer because I believe that no one should have to struggle alone. University life can be overwhelming, with coursework, labs, and personal challenges all piling up, and I want to help create a more supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.

If elected, I will work to improve access to wellbeing resources by creating a clear, easy-to-use welfare guide, making it easier for students to find the support they need. I will also organize stress-relief events, such as revision chill zones and social meetups, to give students a chance to relax and connect. Additionally, I will advocate for a better work-life balance by pushing for fair deadlines and clearer workload expectations.

I will ensure that student concerns are heard in faculty meetings and set up an anonymous feedback system so everyone has a safe space to share their thoughts. A positive and supportive community benefits us all, and I’m committed to making a real difference.
