My name is Tarni and I am a second year medical student, who would be privileged to be Sponsorship Officer for the Respiratory Society.

My passion for advancements in respiratory health combined with my interest in building meaningful partnerships inpsired me to apply for this role. Through effective sponsorship, I believe that this can provide valuable opportunities to educate others through conferences and workshops who share like-minded interest in this field.

In my previous experiences, I have developed excellent communication when having to help assist find smaller sponsors for an annual show in Imperial Tamil Society, as part of the committee. I am able to identify suitable sponsors who match the values of respiratory society and can contribute to the successes of the society. I understand the importance of having a strong relationship which will benefit both the sponsor and the society and I am dedicated to finding an optimal balance when liaising with such sponsors.

As a highly motivated individual, I am confident that I can help organise strategic sponsorships that will enhance the society and its aspirations. Through finding sponsors, I hope to contribute to raising awareness and funding important research for respiratory causes. I intend on working with multiple sponsors in order to expose the society and students to different opportunities and help the society grow. I am excited by the opportunity to work with a society and secure the best possible opportunities for people who share the same passion for me in this vital field.
