Hi, I'm Chahak and would love to be your Chair this year!

I am passionate about orthopaedics and committed to bringing OrthoSoc to new heights next year. My goal is to provide a platform where students can gain deeper insight into the specialty and get the hands-on experiences they need. Having been part of the committee, I understand how things run and have the vision and drive to take OrthoSoc to the next level.

My goals as Chair:

1. Expanding educational opportunities - including teaching series tailored to the curriculum, more frequent conferences with expert speakers and unique hands on workshops.

2. More exposure and experience in the specialty - growing a mentor-mentee network to increase exposure to the field in early years.

3. Stronger networking and research opportunities - creating a dedicated database of orthopaedic surgeons, and regular information about research opportunities to increase engagement with the profession.

4. More active OrthoSoc community - creating an engaging and lively platform with more frequent events for members to interact.
