As a dedicated and active member of the Orthopaedic Society, I’ve had the privilege of helping to organise workshopsfor this year’s Orthopaedic Conference, working closely with both speakers and industry partners to deliver valuable hands-on experiences for students.
Beyond orthopaedics, I’ve gained valuable organisational and leadership skills serving on the Oncology Society subcommittee, where I helped secure speakers, design promotional materials, and organise a successful conference. I’m also passionate about teaching, having delivered lectures for the Junior Anatomy Series, supporting Phase 1A students in their early learning.
My experiences extend beyond campus — I’ve volunteered in India, providing medical aid to a rural village, strengthening my communication and problem-solving skills in resource-limited settings.
Currently engaged in multiple research projects, I’m keen to help fellow students navigate the challenges of balancing research with their studies and make the research process more accessible to all.
If elected, I will work to make the Orthopaedic Society more inclusive, supportive, and engaging, ensuring every student — from those exploring orthopaedics for the first time to those pursuing careers in the specialty — feels supported and inspired to get involved.
