Krishnii Sivakumaran

Hello everyone, I’m Krishnii and I’m thrilled to be running for the role of Conference Lead as orthopaedics is a field I’m passionate about. It’s a diverse and rewarding speciality that can have a profound impact on patients’ lives, restoring their function and mobility and with that, their independence. I want to bring that same enthusiasm to this year’s conference, making it an engaging event for everyone involved.

Being part of the Orthopaedics Subcommittee has given me valuable insight into the organisation of the conference, allowing me to see what works well and where improvements can be made. As a Conference Lead, I would want to ensure the event covers different aspects and paths in orthopaedics- medicine, surgery, and research. My goal is to make it as engaging and impactful as possible that provides valuable learning opportunities.

Outside of this, my involvement in other subcommittees, as well as my experience as Head of Sponsorships in Tamil Society, has strengthened my skills in managing sponsorships, liaising with charities and coordinating with catering and media partners. I also organised a charity talk and created marketing content for sponsors, giving me the experience to secure funding and build strong partnerships—both key for running a successful conference.

I’m eager to bring my experience and passion to this role, and I’d love the opportunity to lead this year’s conference to new heights.
