Adam Shann
Hi everyone! My name is Adam, I'm a 3rd year medical student, and I'm super excited to put myself forward to be your next Neurology Lead.
My passion for neurology began way back in year 12 during my time on an interventional neuroradiology ward. I found myself captivated by the combination of precision, innovation and enhanced patient outcomes this field offers.
I am planning to undertake the Neuroscience BSc next year to deepen my understanding of the brain and explore the cutting-edge advancements shaping the world of neurology. This not only strengthens my knowledge, but enhances my ability to bring valuable insights, engaging opportunities and innovative ideas to the role.
As secretary of the Radiology Society, I’ve gained invaluable experience in organising & hosting events, supporting the committee, and handling behind-the-scenes tasks to keep everything running smoothly. I also love any excuse to make a Qualtrics survey so I’ve gained lots of experience with that too! I aim to apply these transferrable skills to support and empower those around me and work towards shared success for the society.
My Vision & Goals:
- Expanding educational activities - talks, workshops & interactive learning.
- Strengthening career & research pathways - mentorship, research & networking.
- Improving engagement & accessibility.
I’m eager to serve the society, and with your support, I am confident we can expand opportunities, enhance learning and build a stronger, more connected neuro community!
Thank you for your time and consideration, I hope I’ve earned your vote!
