As an aspiring neurosurgeon with a deep commitment to the field, I am thrilled to run for the Neurosurgery Lead position in NeuroSoc. Through my ongoing research into the effects of hypervigilance on vestibular perception and processing, I’ve developed a strong appreciation for the intersection of clinical neuroscience and surgical practice. I am eager to bring my passion for neurosurgery and academic growth to this role and help inspire the next generation of neurosurgeons.
As Neurosurgery Lead, I aim to:
- Organise exclusive neurosurgery-focused events, including guest lectures, surgical skill workshops, and panel discussions with renowned neurosurgeons, allowing members to gain valuable insight into the field.
- Facilitating connections between students, clinicians, and researchers in the field will enhance access to neurosurgery-related research opportunities and ensure members have opportunities for hands-on experience and involvement in clinical research.
- Create a supportive community for aspiring neurosurgeons, offering mentorship, networking events, and collaborative projects to ensure members feel empowered and prepared to pursue careers in neurosurgery.
I am committed to making NeuroSoc a hub for aspiring neurosurgeons, where we learn from leaders in the field, create lasting connections, explore opportunities, and push the boundaries of what we can achieve together.
If you want a stronger, more impactful neurosurgery program within NeuroSoc, vote for me as Neurosurgery Lead. Together, we can elevate the field of neurosurgery at Imperial and help shape the future of healthcare.
