As someone passionate about neuroscience, from the clinical to the cognitive, I am excited to run for the position of Neuroscience Lead in NeuroSoc. I am currently conducting research into the effects of hypervigilance on vestibular perception and processing, and this has fueled my commitment to exploring the brain’s complexities. I am eager to bring my scientific curiosity and research-driven mindset to NeuroSoc to create a more engaging and enriching experience for all members.

As Neuroscience Lead, I aim to:

• Organise cutting-edge academic events by inviting renowned experts in neuroscience and neurotechnology, focusing on making these events accessible and engaging for all members.
• Strengthen research initiatives by facilitating networking opportunities between students, researchers, and clinicians, ensuring members have access to mentorship, collaborative research opportunities, and research presentations.
• Promote interdisciplinary dialogue by creating a platform for members to explore diverse areas within neuroscience, from neurodegenerative diseases to neurotechnology and neuroethics, encouraging a collaborative environment that enhances learning and growth.

I am committed to making NeuroSoc a more vibrant, innovative, and inclusive community where members have the tools, inspiration, and connections to pursue their interests in neuroscience.
