Rhys Manning Garrero

Having been a neuro soc member for many years, I would like to give back to the society as a neuroscience lead. Having attended many neuro soc events during my time in ICSM, as well as being a speaker coordinator for the Meeting of the Minds conference, I believe I could make a significant contribution to the society as neuroscience lead.

Throughout my time as a speaker coordinator, I was able to successfully coordinate and recruit potential speakers for the conference, this as well as working alongside other members of the subcommittee, has allowed me to develop the skills needed to be an effective committee member.

I am currently finishing my BSc in Neuroscience and as such I believe this gives me the knowledge needed to be an effective neuroscience lead, in my role I would like to plan neuroscience based events, a speaker series and help the society in many other ways.
