Hi, I’m Kirill, and I want to make EFDS the most fun and opportunity-rich society at Imperial.
As an EFDS student and a member of the Investment Society Events Committee, I know exactly what makes a successful event and what our cohort wants. I love our degree, and as Events Officer, I will ensure you get the best experiences, exclusive career opportunities, and a thriving social scene that no other department offers.
So what exactly am I offering?
• Experience: Our degree is unique—so let’s showcase it to employers! I will launch events like pitch competitions and Datathons, where you can apply all three disciplines of Economics, Finance, and Data Science.
• Insight: I will leverage my network to bring in top industry speakers, like the Head of Data Analytics at Citadel, who has already expressed interest in our degree. These events will be both insightful and career-defining.
• Fun: Socials are a key part of university life. Having already organised the EFDS pre-uni meetup, I know the value of networking and friendships. Expect poker nights, pub golf, and interactive socials to make EFDS more than just academics.
With Equity Research and VC internships, founding Capital Compass, leading my high school’s Finance & Investing Society, and running a charity fundraiser, I am well-prepared for the high responsibility of Events Officer. I thrive in leadership positions, and I am committed to creating a balance between professional development and having an incredible time at university.
