Isabella Jones

Hi, I’m Isabella and I’m excited to be running for your Year 1 & 2 Events Officer!

During my first year at Imperial I’ve enjoyed attending the events run by BMB Soc, and I now want to get involved in organising fun and inclusive events for everyone else. I have plenty of experience planning and organising charity fundraisers with my sixth form, which taught me valuable time management and communication skills that I intend to bring to this role. I also enjoy listening to others’ thoughts and ideas to plan events that include something for everyone, so make sure to get in touch with suggestions!

If chosen as your events officer, I’d like to organise more wellbeing events (puppy therapy, anyone?), and work closely with the rest of the team to bring you a range of engaging opportunities over the next year. I also hope to plan more events that facilitate communication between years 1 and 2, as it’s so important to get to know our peers and meet new people. I believe that I am well-prepared for the challenges this role will bring, and I’m eager to take them on!
