Let's Get People Talking about Robotics 🤖

As the societies' talks officer, I will bridge the gap between us and industry experts by leveraging my passion for robotics and my excellent interpersonal skills. My mission will be to provide insight into the professional sphere of robotics through delivering relevant panellists and experts for society events.

I will be proactive in securing these speakers and actively collaborate with other event organisers to ensure they align with the objectives of the society. I will be eager to receive feedback on my performance from society members to continually refine my approach in delivering talks.

Technical presentations I have given myself have bolstered my communication and public speaking skills, whilst giving me an appreciation for what makes a great talk. Past industry placements I have completed have similarly helped me recognise the value, knowledge, and insights that external speakers can bring to events.

This society, in such a renowned university, provides a perfect platform for industry experts to deliver talks and an opportunity to showcase what we have to offer. I am excited to contribute to the growth of the society, inspire members, and foster connections between industry experts.
