Finance: Head of Buy Side

Hi everyone! I’m Rajveer, and I'm pleased to be running for the role of Head of Buy Side this year.

Having developed models to forecast asset prices and simulate market dynamics, I understand the importance of buy-side strategies in driving investment decisions and generating alpha.

As Head of Buy Side, my goal is to establish the Buy Side division as an invaluable resource for students pursuing careers in asset management, hedge funds, and private equity.

Key Initiatives:

Investment Insight Sessions – Organising talks and workshops with fund managers, analysts, and quantitative researchers to provide real-world insight into the sector.
Career Development Opportunities – CV reviews, case study workshops, and networking events to help students secure buy-side roles.

As Events Officer for the Maths Society, I have experience coordinating logistics and managing event execution, skills that will be invaluable as we look to further establish the Finance society as one of Europe's strongest university finance societies.

With my experience in quantitative modeling, financial forecasting, and event organisation, I am committed to making the Buy Side division a hub for students looking for guidance and insights into career opportunities.
