The Transplant and Vascular Society has already built a strong platform for students interested in these fields, providing valuable learning and networking opportunities. Having attended the Transplant and Vascular Conference and completed my placement in the vascular surgery department, I have seen firsthand the importance of academic engagement in these specialties. My personal passion for transplant and vascular surgery drives me to help the society continue growing on top of the great work carried out by the previous year’s team.

If elected, I will:

• Continue organising expert-led seminars and discussions on surgical advancements and research.
• Work with conference leads to incorporate more interactive and hands-on learning experiences for all levels of expertise, from Y1s to Y6s.
• Strengthen research and mentorship links, making it easier for students to network and get involved with projects and professionals.
• Expand the society’s academic resources to ensure high-yield learning materials are more accessible.

With my experience and commitment, I want to ensure that this society remains a valuable resource for students interested in transplant and vascular surgery.
