Antonia Chung
Hi everyone! My name is Antonia Chung, and I am a second-year medical student excited to be running for the role of Sponsorship Officer in the Transplant and Vascular Society🩸
The society has so much potential to grow, and securing sponsorships is essential in making that happen. Attending the symposium made me realise the value of well-funded events in providing learning opportunities, networking, and hands-on experience. I want to help ensure the society has the financial support it needs to expand and enhance these opportunities for all members.
As Sponsorship Officer, I will:
- 🤝Secure partnerships with industry professionals, medical organisations, and sponsors.
- Bring in funding to support workshops, speaker events, and hands-on surgical training.
- 💬Negotiate sponsorship deals that offer long-term benefits for the society and its members.
- Work with the committee to maximise resources and improve opportunities for students.
I have experience in outreach and liaising with external organisations through my involvement in other volunteering, and I would use these skills to build meaningful partnerships. My goal is to secure sponsorships that will not only benefit the society this year but create lasting opportunities for future members.
I am passionate about ensuring the society has the resources to thrive, and I’d love the chance to contribute in this role. Please vote for me—I’d really appreciate your support!
