Rong Quan Yeo

Hello, I’m Rong Quan, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Head of Outreach for the AI Society.

With a strong background in corporate engagement, industry outreach, and event organisation, I am confident in strengthening the AI Society’s connections with industry professionals, and technology companies. Through my role at Advisory Singapore, a non-profit organisation, I have actively engaged with industry leaders, coordinating panel discussions and learning journeys to give students real-world insights. Furthermore, I have experience organising alumni homecoming as Secretary-Treasurer in my high school Math and Science Club. These experiences have honed my ability to connect with professionals and foster long-term relationships.

My goals as Head of Outreach include:

• Expanding Industry Collaborations in AI: Building partnerships with leading AI labs, tech firms, and research institutions to provide members with internship opportunities, mentorship programs, and AI-driven projects.
• Organising AI Research & Industry Site Visits: Securing partnerships to arrange company site visits to AI research labs, machine learning teams, and autonomous systems divisions, providing firsthand exposure to cutting-edge AI applications.

I am excited to leverage my experience in outreach, networking, and AI engagement to build strong industry ties and create unique professional opportunities for AI Society members.
