Anton Pustygin

Hello everyone!

I'm Anton – your current Vice President of German Society, running to become President. I have been actively involved with the Society for the past two years and have really loved both attending and helping organise its events.

As your president, I will continue organising everyone's favourite events – Oktoberfest (indeed, in November), Karneval, regular Stammtische. In addition to that we will have the ocassional food outings, networking events and talks from our sponsors. I will ensure everyone on the committee feels supported in the tasks they undertake and will always be happy to help out with any organisational matters.

Having been on many committees, I have a lot of experience when it comes to organising events, whether that is doing risk assessments, communicating with the union or simply promotion. I am very keen to apply this experience to the German Society and help it continue be the absolutely wonderful society that it is. I will make it my goal to establish strong connections with other German societies in London and increase the number of collaborative events to build a bigger community for everyone interested in German culture.
