Szymon Kwidzinski
My name is Szymon Kwidzinski, an Economics, Finance and Data Science student, but more importantly, a Pole, born and raised in Gdynia on the Baltic coast. I’m running to become President of the Imperial Polish Society to restore our Society to its former glory and transform it into a visible, professional, and inspiring platform.
As the founder of See the Sea, an award-winning youth NGO protecting the Baltic Sea, I’ve built national partnerships, raised funds for environmental causes, and mobilised communities. I know how to turn a vision into action, and I’m ready to do the same for PolSoc!
If elected, I will lead the launch of the first-ever Imperial Polish Tech Forum, bringing together students and professionals from leading companies like ElevenLabs, Bending Spoons, and Google. This will be a flagship event showcasing Polish innovation and connecting our members to real career opportunities.
We’ll also organise hands-on cultural experiences like the Pierogi Masterclass, open to all Imperial students, sharing our Polish heritage through food, stories, and laughter, while expanding the Society’s visibility and community.
I’ll build long-term partnerships, securing funding, mentorship, and high-profile speaker events. With a dedicated LinkedIn and active social media presence, we’ll spotlight member achievements, grow our reach, and professionalise the Society.
Most importantly, I will position Imperial PolSoc as a leader among Polish student organisations, collaborating with other UK PolSocs and cultural groups to strengthen our voice and impact.
Let’s build a PolSoc that thinks like a startup!
