Heya everyone, my name’s Arjun and I would love to be your Chair next year!

Over my time at ICSM, I’ve had some incredible opportunities to meet awesome people, play music in places I didn’t know existed, and make change across the whole medical school; I can trace all of that back to ICSM Music Society. I would honestly be privileged to be the one who takes on the role of Chair and to help create some similar opportunities for those in the Society. Here’s a couple of the things I’d like to do next year to help us continue running at such a high level!

Utilise knowledge of ICU

I’ve spent the last two years being ICSM’s advocate in ICU, and unfortunately that’s not been an easy job. I’ve spent countless hours in their offices working through situations that have plagued Imperial’s societies for years, and that puts me in one of the strongest places to lead us through their endless red tape.

Change tour planning

Tour has been an absolutely insane feat over the last few years, but it comes with a huge financial and logistical strain for the Society. I believe it’s time to start reconsidering how we approach the way we do it to help us save time, money, and energy.

Continue supporting committee

Having spent 4 years on committee, I feel ready to also help next year's comm run at their best for every event, rehearsal and social!
