I am a Numismatist (collect coins basically), but, in this role, I will not be storing, money - my aim is to manage the aero department funds responsibly so we can host great events, support exciting new ideas, and ensure every penny benefits our members (and if possible, give more money for some of the aero clubs and societies!).
I know the importance of budgeting wisely. I’ve already helped manage small event budgets and, at the moment, assist in completing self-assessment tax returns each year - accuracy matters when every penny counts!
Whether it’s creating a clear budget, tracking expenses, or presenting financial reports, I genuinely enjoy organising information. If elected, I’ll ensure the finances are fully transparent, so you’ll always know how funds are being used.
I believe being Treasurer isn’t just about balancing the books, it’s about enabling us to do great things together.
Most importantly, I will:
- Keep our finances safe and sound, with clear updates to members
- Help make sure we get value for every pound we spend
- Support creative ideas and make them financially possible
- Be approachable and responsive — no finance question is too small
Finally, I truly love being part of our community, and I want to contribute in a way that plays to my strengths.
