Artsoc: Junior Treasurer

Hello! I'm Sally and I'd like to be your next ArtSoc treasurer. I've been a huge fan of musicals and theatre for as long as I can remember. I have enjoyed ArtSoc's very nice discounts and I hope to continue and expand on that next year.

I want to keep ticket prices low, as in under £30 whenever possible — making theatre accessible for more students while keeping the society financially sustainable.

To achieve this, I will:

negotiate with the union to secure more funding to subsidize our events
send out more thorough and more regular interest forms so that we can buy the right tickets to the right shows
analyze previous years' ticket sales so that we can better match demand, reduce overspending, and ensure money is going where it’s most wanted

I'll also work with the rest of the committee to secure the shows that you want to see. With a tightly managed budget, we will be able to subsidize more Hamilton or Phantom shows (if that is in demand, of course!)

I’m organised, detail-focused, and committed to making sure our funds are used effectively and transparently. My goal is to make sure we get the most value out of every pound, so that ArtSoc can be the best it can possibly be.
