Jacob Beeson

My name is Jacob, and I am putting myself forward for the position of Junior Treasurer for Imperial College Radio Society. Throughout this past year, I have been an active and enthusiastic member of the IC Radio community, and I believe my dedication, organizational skills, and passion for the society make me a strong candidate for this role.

On-Air Experience: My co-host Gaspard and I have enjoyed hosting "Big Rats Planet" every Friday night, contributing regularly to the station's diverse programming with funky hardcore and acid house.

Creative Contributions: Beyond the airwaves, I've actively supported the society behind the scenes. In the first term this year, I was involved in creating graphics for Modulate. In January, I had the opportunity to represent Imperial College and IC Radio at the Unity Sounds Fabric takeover. For this event, I created and displayed the visual graphics that were projected behind the DJs in the main room, contributing to the overall aesthetic and experience of the event.

I want to work closely wih the treaureer allowing for finacial growth of IC radio, putting on the best possible events and preserving and expanding the creative legacy of IC radio.
