亲爱的同学们：

我是生物医学工程专业的杨怀厚，现任帝国学院学生会常委及CGCU执钤仪使。怀着服务为本的初心，我愿竞选学联秘书长一职，希望能为学联的高效运作和文化交流贡献力量。

秘书处是学联的桥梁纽带，连接主席团与各部门，确保信息畅通、执行高效。如果当选，我将从以下几个方面着手：

一、提升沟通效率，推动透明运作

  • 建立清晰的沟通机制，确保学联决策公开透明，及时回应同学们的疑问

  • 定期汇总各部门工作进展，让每位成员了解学联动态

二、加强内外协作，促进文化交流

  • 与帝国学生会（ICU）保持密切沟通，确保中国学生的需求得到关注

  • 推动学联与其他社团的合作并举办文化活动，既促进跨文化理解，也弘扬中华传统

三、优化内部管理，增强团队凝聚力

  • 凭借担任两年生物工程系 Wellbeing 代表的经验，我将策划符合同学们多元兴趣和需求的团建活动

  • 协助各部门优化工作流程，提高活动策划与执行的效率

四、服务同学需求，打造温暖学联

  • 关注中国留学生的实际需求，在学习、生活、职业发展等方面提供支持

  • 倾听同学反馈，确保学联工作真正贴近大家的期待

作为在ICU深度参与学生事务的代表，我熟悉学校运作机制，也理解国际学生的需求。如若当选，我将秉持务实高效的原则，让学联成为大家信赖的海外家园。

Dear fellow students,

I am Huaihou Yang (Apollo), a Biomedical Engineering student currently serving as the Student Rep in the ICU Council and Spanner Bearer in CGCU. With a service-oriented mindset, I am running for CSSA Chief Secretary to enhance our operational efficiency and cultural engagement.

As the central hub connecting the executive committee and departments, the Chief Secretary ensures smooth communication and execution. If elected, I will focus on:

1. Transparent & Efficient Operations
• Establish clear communication channels for timely responses
• Regularly update members on CSSA’s work progress

2. Cross-Cultural Collaboration
• Strengthen ties with ICU to advocate for Chinese students’ needs
• Partner with societies to host inclusive cultural events

3. Cohesive Team Building
• Leverage my 2-year Wellbeing Rep experience to organize engaging team-building activities that cater to students' diverse interests and needs
• Streamline workflows for smoother event execution

4. Student-Centric Services
• Address practical needs in academics, career, and campus life
• Actively gather feedback to improve CSSA’s initiatives

My ICU involvement has granted me unique insights into institutional operations and international students’ perspectives. As Chief Secretary, I will uphold a pragmatic and efficient approach to make CSSA your trusted home overseas.
