Hi, I’m Tarun, and I’m running to be 1st XI captain next year.

One of my main priorities would be making sure selection is clear and communicated properly. Squads are getting more competitive every year, and I think it’s important that everyone knows where they stand and what they need to work on. I’d also like to keep things flexible throughout the winter and summer—people develop at different times, and form can change, so there should always be chances to break into the side if you're putting in the work and performing.

I’ve captained my school’s 1st XI and led county age-group teams before, so I know what it takes to bring a group together, back players through good and bad spells, and manage things both on and off the field.

I really care about the squad and where it’s going, and with it being my final last year I would love the opportunity to end my IC career on a high note.
