Ishan Mayor

Hi guys, I’m Ishan and I am running for the 3rd XI captain next year. I’ve been a part of IC Cricket for three years and I believe I have absorbed the culture like no other, whether it be socials, seeing the 3s get pounded by villagers, or seeing the 3s destroy some random First XI, I have always been a major part of it. I believe I am perfect to take on the responsibilities of the 3rd XI captain, as I won’t only bring an element of fun and jokes to the squad, but also my strong desire to win will get the best out of everyone.

Some implementations I want to make are to provide more batting coaching for players, as the 3s do love a cheeky batting collapse. On top of this, I want to introduce fielding scenarios and better fielding drills, as I feel that’s one thing players don’t really work on as much during the season. I have previous experience captaining my school team, and we saw great success (even if I wasn’t the best player), as the good enthusiasm and confidence I bring to a side is a guaranteed +50 runs. The Third XI in the last few years has seen immense growth, and I am ideal to take it to the next level.
