Hey everyone! I’m Susie, a current 2nd year Computing student and I would love to be one of your events officers :)
As a full-time DocSoc events attendee and someone working closely with committee members to streamline the planning process, from venue hunting to risk assessments, I am passionate about bringing events to life.
One of my key goals is to introduce a wider variety of events. With the help of the generous DocSoc budget, I will organise activities for every interest, from gokarting trips, cocktail/mocktail making workshops to chill climbing socials.
Next, I believe in making your voices heard. I’ll create convenient channels for feedback so you can directly influence anything from the type of event to details like timing and venue.
Whether it's budget-friendly socials, slightly niche activities you’ve always wanted to try, or just a tried and tested classic, I will make sure there is something for everyone.
