Hi everyone! I’m excited to be running for the role of Vice President of Activities for RCSU. I believe events are one of the most important ways we build memories at Imperial and connect with other students, and I want to continue them next year. This year's two flagship events were amazing, and I aim to build off of RCSU's success with even more fun events for everyone.

Here’s what I plan to do next year:

• Continue and improve the two major annual RCSU events, asking for your input on venues, dress codes, and other details
• Introduce a third large-scale event, giving us another major occasion to look forward to in the academic year
• Collaborate with other constituent unions to co-host some events so that they'll be even bigger and better, and we'll be able to keep prices low
• Introduce more medium-scale social events like pub quizzes, informal mixers, and inter-department competitions
• Improve our publicity — I know we're scientists but our graphic design could use... some work. Better advertising = better events.

As VPA, my focus will be on efficient planning, clear communication, and most importantly, creating the most exciting events possible for us to enjoy. I'll try to make sure we have a well-balanced calendar full of events year-round so that we can enjoy ourselves and take a break from all our studying. Thank you so much for reading!
