Anton Pustygin

Dear Members of Polish Society!

I am Anton, running to be your Vice President. Having previously been PolSoc Events Officer, I am well-versed in the event needs of this society and I am more than happy to fulfill them. Classic film nights, outings to Mamuśka, Union socials, karaoke nights – I promise you all that and more. I have great connections with Polish Societies at other universities in London and will also strive to deliver more collaborative events (including those with PolSoc London and Federacja).

In addition to coordinating the organisation of these events, I will work closesly with the rest of the committee to make sure everyone's voice is heard and the Polish Society organises events to everyone's interest. I am truly passionate about promoting Polish culture to everyone with an interest, providing a home away from home for students recently having come from Poland, as well as providing an opportunity for home students of Polish heritage to reconnect with their culture. As your Vice President, I will ensure that every community is represented and that we offer a welcoming environment for all.
