Hey, Weronika here, going into 2nd year of Biochemistry and running for Polish Society's VP!

What I want to do as part of the committee is to encourage the Polish community at Imperial to socialise, collaborate, and have a bit of home away from home.

As a Pole myself, I appreciate being in a community in London, where I could celebrate Polish cultural traits, holidays and traditions with people, who can 100% relate to our heritage. At the same time, I am eager to organise activities for the Friends of Polish Society's from all over the world, for them to learn more about our country and commune with our culture.

Cultural experiences for Poles and Friends of PolSoc (Pierogi Masterclass, cultural get-togethers, 2025 PolSoc Anniversary of existence)
Collaborations with organisations in Poland, UK and internationally (including Boston Consulting Group, Our Future Foundation, FoPSSUK) to get financial support, networking opportunities and long-term bilateral relationships to foster connections for the future years
STEMB-based opportunities for Poles to boost career opportunities (Imperial Polish Tech Forum, meetings with inspiring Poles)
Press to reduce the fee of joining to PolSoc (tied to financial support opportunities), making it accessible for Poles

With my leadership experience (co-founder of AstroYouth), network in STEM, startup world and Polish market, I am confident that I can pull my programme off together with the PolSoc committee.

Thriving of PolSoc will start with a portion of fresh energy.
