Hey I'm Rola and I'm running for VP Sponsorship to elevate our society through strategic partnerships and innovative sponsorship approaches that will transform our events and expand our opportunities.

I'm committed to starting the sponsorship hunt early, creating a year-long sponsorship calendar and building sustainable partnerships that future officers can maintain. I plan to use personal HR emails and networks to establish genuine relationships with companies, focusing on organizations with diversity initiatives and companies already supporting cultural societies.

Once relationships are established with partner companies, I aim to create targeted professional development events that directly benefit our members' career prospects. These events would span various sectors including finance, law, tech, consulting and medicine, offering networking opportunities, industry insights, and potential internship opportunities. By hosting company-sponsored career panels, mentorship sessions, and skills workshops, we'll transform sponsor relationships into genuine pathways for professional growth.

Additionally, I plan to collaborate with UCL's ACS to strengthen our sponsorship appeal. My friend serves as UCL's Sponsorship Officer, giving us access to their successful strategies and shared event opportunities. Joint events will attract larger audiences, making us more appealing to sponsors while reducing costs.

I'm committed to providing transparent leadership with regular progress updates and member input opportunities. My goal is building long-term partnerships that ensure financial sustainability while securing quality funding for our events.
