Why me?
I’ve always been someone who brings people together – whether it’s as an academic rep or while running my own clothing brand. I know how to manage people, plan events, and see ideas through from start to finish. I’m organised, approachable, and genuinely enjoy making things happen behind the scenes. I care about the MechSoc community and want to create spaces where everyone feels welcome – from first-years meeting new friends to fourth-years blowing off steam. As Vice Chair – Events, I’ll bring energy, structure, and most importantly, a real commitment to making our events as good as they can be.

As Vice Chair – Events, I want to make MechSoc socials more than just fun nights out – I want them to be experiences you actually look forward to. From subsidised term-end parties at venues like arcade bars, to exciting collaborations with other societies, I’ll make sure our events cater to all vibes – whether you're into games, good chat, or just want to meet new people. But beyond organising my own events, I also want to support your ideas. Just like how ME1 pulled off the ‘Take Me Out’ night, I’ll make sure your creativity gets the backing it deserves. Whether it's planning, logistics, or just moral support – I’ll be there to help you make it happen. Let’s build a MechSoc social calendar that's inclusive, original, and actually worth showing up for.
