Hello all, it’s me, the Mad Hatter/Smee/Wadsworth/whatever creature terrorises your dreams! The reason you’re reading this now is because I am applying to direct next year’s autumn play! I’ve absolutely loved every second that I’ve been a part of drama, and I’d love to give back to you guys.

Being a part of three plays now and being friends with so many of you, I feel that I’ve gotten a real insight into all the intricacies and facets of directing, and it’s a challenge that I’d love to take on. I have had some experience directing a fresher’s play, and I have lots of creative experience in my own writing, so it would be an absolute joy to work on a large scale project with all of you, and bring something truly special to life.

Having known some of you for quite a while now, I am aware of many of the challenges that come with directing, and some of the inevitable struggles that occur with that. What I can say is that I am dedicated, organised, but most of all I am passionate about the projects that I take on. I will put my utmost into directing a play that everybody can enjoy. I want every single person in cast, tech and arts to have so much fun working on this and not get stressed and burnt out, and that is my absolute priority.
