尊敬的各位同学：

大家好！我是汤敏学，现为帝国理工生命科学方向的博士新生。很高兴向大家宣布，我正在参选帝国理工中国学联媒体部副部长（运营）一职。

我热爱传播，也深知内容的力量。今年，我作为代表出席了联合国生物多样性大会（COP16），与会相关的报道累计获得了超过11万阅读。此外，我还曾为华人头条剪辑新闻视频，该新闻报道同样取得了约11万的阅读量，展现了我在视频内容创作与传播方面的实际操作能力。

我拥有多年的新媒体运营与内容创作经验：在布里斯托学联期间，参与官方公众号的内容策划与排版，并独立管理过模拟商务谈判赛事的公众号，擅长活动宣传、文案写作、视觉编辑等全流程工作。

在文体活动方面，我也是一位活跃的组织者与表演者。曾多次参与CSSA春晚、全英春晚、新春游行等大型活动，表演内容包括汉服走秀、独唱、合唱等，深刻理解宣传与活动现场的联动与配合。

如果有幸当选，我将致力于：

  • 提升CSSA新媒体平台的内容策划与品牌传播力，让我们的每场活动都被看见；

  • 打造具有深度与温度的原创栏目，增强同学之间的共鸣与互动；

  • 联动外部平台资源，扩展受众覆盖面，增强CSSA对外影响力。

我相信，凭借我在剪辑、策划、写作、表演与活动统筹方面的多元经验，能够为CSSA媒体部注入新的专业性与生命力。希望得到大家的信任与支持！

Dear Fellow Students,

Hello! I’m Minxue Tang, a first-year PhD student at Imperial College focusing on life sciences. I am excited to run for Deputy Head of Media (Operations) at the Imperial Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA).

Earlier this year, I attended the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP16) as a delegate. Media reports related to my participation gained over 113,000 views, reflecting strong engagement from the wider Chinese-speaking community. Separately, I also edited news videos for Chinese Headline News, and the article reached 117,000 views, showing my capability to produce impactful digital content.

I bring extensive experience in media operations. At Bristol CSSA, I helped run the official WeChat account, including content writing, scheduling, and visual design. I also independently managed a business negotiation competition account, covering full-cycle promotion tasks.

In addition, I’m a frequent event organiser and performer, having participated in CSSA and UK Spring Festival Galas, as well as Chinese New Year parades, where I have performed solo singing and in Hanfu runway shows. These give me a well-rounded understanding of both stage and behind-the-scenes work.

If elected, I will:

  • Strengthen CSSA’s digital presence through thoughtful, well-crafted content;

  • Launch original columns that highlight community voices and spark engagement;

  • Leverage external platforms to increase our reach and elevate CSSA’s visibility.

With real experience in video editing, content strategy, performance, and promotion, I am ready to help CSSA shine. Thank you for your support!
