Sofia Hospodar

Hey y'all! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Sofia and I am your current ICFAS President :)) I'm so excited to continue being a part of everything the society does next year, and I know the new committee will do a fantastic job!

As President, I've really enjoyed being part of the organizational group that makes sure things run smoothly (well... as smoothly as possible - big shout out to the rest of comm who helped deal with all the logistical things, especially union-related shenanigans, that came up and surprised us this year!). I would love to continue to be a part of the committee that serve this society, and I can't think of a better role to do that in than as HR Lead.

As the HR Lead, I will do my best to be a welcoming voice within the society and someone that everyone can count on for an encouraging word and a quick signpost to relevant support. I will use my experience as President this year (and Secretary last year) to support the other new committee members, and will communicate any concerns that arise within our community to the appropriate touchpoints within both ICFAS and SJA, efficiently and transparently. Also, red squirrels are my favorite animal (to answer Sean's famous AGM question).
