Shivangi Kumar

Hi, I’m Shivangi, a third-year Computer Science student currently on a six-month placement at Amazon, and I’m running for VP Technology.

At its core, this role is about keeping the society’s website up to date – making sure resources, events, sponsor information, and project details are all easy to access and well maintained. I’m more than happy to take that on and make sure things run smoothly. I am also interested in the potential to do more with the tech side of the society. There are a lot of exciting directions we could explore – like smarter tools to support case prep or better ways to connect members – and I’d love to help make that happen if the opportunity and interest are there.

I’ve been coding for years and have worked on everything from websites to machine learning projects, and even systems-level programming. For me, this role is a chance to put those skills to use in a way that’s practical but also potentially quite creative.

I’d love to be part of shaping what the tech side of the society looks like next year — and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can build together.
