Thuva Thanarajah
Hi, I’m Thuva, a 3rd year medical student, and I’m excited to run for secretary of Pharmacology Society!
With my upcoming BSc in pharmacology next year, I’m passionate about understanding how pharmacological research drives innovation in treatment strategies and improves patient outcomes. I’m motivated to support a society that not only enhances academic knowledge but also connects students with the latest developments in pharmacological science and clinical practice.
As secretary, I will focus on ensuring efficient communication within the committee and with members, maintaining accurate records, and organising meetings and events effectively. Strong administration is vital to the smooth running of any society, and I am committed to delivering this.
I aim to support the committee in coordinating a varied and engaging programme of events that align with students’ interests and academic needs.
If elected, I will dedicate myself to facilitating the society’s growth and fostering an inclusive environment where all members feel informed and involved.
Thank you for your consideration!
