Hi everyone, my name is Meena and I would love to be your next President!

My last three years with Dance have been the most fun I’ve had at university and I’ve felt so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community of people <3. Running things behind the scenes on committee, especially as Treasurer this past year, has been such a great learning opportunity for me and has given me an insight into how our society and Imperial administration works. I would love to use my experience and passion to lead committee next year as Pres!!

Next year, my main aims are to make our society as big, welcoming and as fun as possible! To do this, I want to continue expanding the society and also to make our activities better known to the rest of the university - we are the most accessible and beginner-friendly dance society at Imperial, and I want to make sure we reach as many people as possible with this message! Additionally, I will endeavour to make sure our classes and performances run as smoothly as they possibly can. This is easier said than done and I know first-hand that a lot of work goes on behind the scenes to make these happen.

As President, I’ll promise to work hard to keep our society thriving, to promote dance as an easy and enjoyable way for anyone to unwind, and importantly to support next year’s committee as best as I can. Thanks for reading!
