Hi, I’m Carla and I’m running for Secretary!

My experience as Chair of the Plastic Surgery Society involved overseeing large-scale conferences, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing society communications. All of this has equipped me with the skills necessary for this role.

Additionally, my work with mass email platforms and member newsletters has demonstrated my ability to maintain continuous and effective communication channels with the incoming management students.

I am someone who is very meticulous and pays attention to details. This, coupled with my experience in administration, makes me well-suited for this role!

If elected, my priorities will include:

• Regular updates delivered via email and WhatsApp to keep students informed of upcoming events and deadlines.
• A centralised digital folder to include all meeting minutes and other information which can be clearly and easily accessed by all committee members.
