Management: Secretary

Hi everyone!

I’m Stephanie and I’m running to be your secretary for the Management Society.

This past year has been so eye-opening for me. Through this Management course, I’ve grown so much, not just academically, but personally too. I’ve learned how to work well with different characters and manage projects under pressure. More than anything, I’ve genuinely loved this course, and I want to give back by helping to organise and support the new cohort.

In my role this year as President of Nth Harmonic, one of Imperial’s A Cappella groups, I managed schedules, led meetings, and oversaw budget allocations to keep our group running smoothly, from rehearsals to performances. It taught me the importance of time management and consistency when running a society, which are the same strengths I would bring to this role.

I’ve also worked as a CPA and OSCE tutor, supporting students through stressful exams. This meant I had to always be reliable and well-prepared to give them the best support possible.

If elected, I’ll work hard to make sure our meetings are efficient and well-organised, with clear agendas and minutes that keep everyone in the loop. Most importantly, I’ll be committed to supporting the incoming students, by sharing resources and helping them settle in.

I’d be honoured to serve as your Secretary and give back to the course and society that’s given me so much.
