Hi, I’m Wafia, and I’m running for Vice President of the Management Society!

This year has honestly been one of the best years of my university experience. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did, but I found myself genuinely loving the content, the group work and the people. So, I’d love the chance to give back.

Over the years, I’ve been involved in a range of roles from BMA Rep, HaemSoc Academic Officer and MedTech Secretary to Charity Week Collects Head, and Student Ambassador. I’ve worked on everything from academic representation to event planning and society leadership. These experiences taught me how to organise effectively, work with diverse teams and create spaces where people feel heard and involved.

As Vice President, I want to help everyone get the most out of the Management iBSc, whether that means support with the course, sharing useful resources, or creating a space where we can learn from each other. I also want the society to be helpful for students beyond the course, especially for those who are curious about exploring different career paths, by making it easier to connect with alumni and professionals and get real insight into what’s possible after university.
