Dear CSSA Members,
I’m Chloe Liu—a BUCS tennis player with past Tennis Captain experience—and I’m running for Head of the Sports Department of our CSSA. I’ve participated l in regional sports competitions, organized recreational tournaments, and I’m eager to bring that same drive and expertise to CSSA.
My Vision

Expand Competitive Opportunities: Use my background in Regional Sports competitions to enter CSSA teams into league play—across tennis, basketball, and badminton—and to secure funding for competition fees

Innovate with Esports: Launch CSSA esports events, complete with livestreamed finals and online leaderboards.
What I Will Do

Multi-Sport Programming:

Bi-weekly badminton and basketball leagues with clear divisions (novice, intermediate, advanced)

Recreational “drop-in” hours at campus courts and halls, coordinated with university facilities

Pop-up events like three-on-three basketball jams and badminton speed-serve contests

Esports Engagement:

Quarterly esports tournaments, from casual meet-ups to campus-wide championships

Partnerships with local gaming venues for prize sponsorship and livestream production

Cross-promotion with physical sports events to foster an “all-sports” community spirit
